Dear Mr. Young,

I am deeply shocked and saddened by your recent comments about the Gulf Oil disaster. You, and other people like you should be down right ashamed of yourself. I do not speak out directly frequently; however, when I heard your comments today, I thought to myself how insensitive. "... We will lose some birds, we will lose some fixed sealife, but overall it will recover."

These are natures creatures, and man is killing them. This is not "just nature taking its course," sir. This is man killing animals, and other men. When is the last time you have seen all this oil in water, never? The idea of oil seeping is true, but never, ever, close to this magnitude, and you know that sir. This is not a natural occurrence, this, my friend, is the opposite of natural. Further more, 11 people were killed in the horrific accident. Perhaps you think they died naturally as well? You should should be ashamed of yourself and your unconscionable remarks. Instead you could be using your influence (and money from the oil industry) to help these 11 families that have lost someone dear to them (from what you call nature taking its course). The sad fact is you can't do that because that would jeopardize your cash flow from oil companies, and thus your lifestyle. I feel for people like you sir, I hope and pray (and I am not a religious man) that people like you change and see the error of your ways.

Thank you for listening

Equality comes in many forms. Race, gender, sexual orientation, social class, and yes, health care. Yesterday our government made a historic decision. A decisive historic decision on health care reform. HCR has been on the progressive platform for nearly 100 years finally, after our historic vote, we are one step closer to making sure ... ALL R CREATED EQUAL.

But, remember this, this is just one step towards HCR. This will not be the final end-all-be-all. Profits should NEVER come in between a patient and their doctor. We must fight, fight every day for the mother living in IL who is sick with a lung infection and can not afford to see a doctor, or for medicine. We must fight for everyone, even the people who fight against us. One day, in their time of need, they will thank us. We are on the human side of this argument. We are on the TRUTH side of this issue. It is not about big government. It is not about higher taxes. IT IS ABOUT LIFE & DEATH...... THIS IS A PRO-LIFE BILL.

I am sure many of you have heard about the blatant discrimination & double standard that CBS has imposed. If not read more here. In response here is the letter I sent to the Sr VP of CBS Tv & Sports. Please email them and send your regret of their decision.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am very saddened by your company’s decision to discriminate against my community, the gay community. With one of the highest disposable incomes in any minority, more ads should be targeted towards the gay community. However, it has came to my attention that not only 1, but 2 adds have been rejected recently due to 'standards' issues. These same 'standards' that brought us a half naked Paris Hilton bouncing off a car, eating a cheeseburger. Or "Go Daddy" commercials featuring women, with little (or no) clothes on, making very strong sexual undertones. All these has seem to pass yours and other, companies 'standards' test. The simple truth is, if these ads did not have gay characters they would have been approved. So the only reasonable conclusion one can draw from these rejections is, discrimination. If the ManCrunch ad had been eHarmony, Chemistry, or Match and it showed a hetro-couple kissing it would have been approved. There is simply a double standard. This becomes even more evident when faced with the facts that you had approved a pro-life commercial featuring Tim Tebow.

This simply cannot be tolerated any longer. It is time that companies, like yours, should be promoting equality, not diminishing it. You could have chosen to side with equality and treating a key demo, like an equal. Instead, you sided with discrimination. I will not be watching the Super Bowl this year. Furthermore, I will personally organize, donate, and contribute in any way, shape, or form I can in protest of this announcement. Additionally I will make it a goal so that the everyone knows every entity that CBS is owned and affiliated with. This protest will continue until a public apology is announced by your company in addition to a substantial commitment to promote equality.

Utterly Disappointed,

The word is out Sarah is going to Fox. I really wish she wouldn't be. It appears there are enough people to vote for her  to win at least a couple of Primaries. Obviously I wouldn't not vote for her, put her socially conservative record to the side, she has yet to prove her self on domestic and foreign issues. This is a clip of her debut on Fox, more about that in a second, which I think all but put the '12 presidential rumors to rest.

Now about this clip, this is EXACTLY what I am talking about, as in misrepresentation. Below you will find a laundry list of the misrepresentations that I could find with this clip, and this is just on the surface level. This doesn't even include fact checking "facts" that they claim are true. Have fun with this one, another classic clip from Fox.

0:42  - "Factor beat CNN 5:1" - While this very well could be true, or not true. I think it should be a FACT that CNN and Fox are 2 completely different shows/channels. This would be like comparing an MLB game to softball, or Ice Skating to Hockey. The issue I have with this is he deliberately used this information to make himself look better, more popular. Falsely giving himself, his staff, and his viewers, an incorrect popular opinion on their views. Then there is the "heart burn" factor. I watch his show, sometimes, to see what kind of bull shit comes out of his mouth.

0:52 "Dominate Best Seller List" - As you will find here, an explanation of how many best seller books are calculated.  According to Slate.com it is calculated on the number of copies, which I hope we can all discern, copies are directly contributed on price. Well guess what, the book is being sold RIGHT NOW at 50% off. That is right folks HALF PRICE, and it is just a few months old. Half Price!! So once again, BillO is not giving ALL of the facts. He is simply stating that facts that a false and misleading.

1:00 "A threat" - HA! This is by far the funniest of all. BillO claims that the left feels that she, SarahP, is a "threat".  Nope, wrong. If anything, as I said above. I would LOVE for her to run. I wouldn't vote for her and her inexperience in all the major areas would lead not only independents, but some republicans from voting for her as well.

Later in the interview the two converse about the whole Reid/Lott situation. I simply do not understand how anyone can compare the two. They are not the same. If anyone would actually read the context of Reid's words he was complimenting Obama. Could he have chosen better words, certainly. But to sit there and compare a compliment, which is fact. Reid is CLEARLY complimenting Obama, to compare that with Lott's comments...

"I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either," Lott said in 2002.

Ok, it doesn't seem so bad. First thing I thought of was "Who is Strom Thurmond?" Here is who he is. Clearly a rasist in my eyes that said this, "All the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, our schools, our churches."  Jessie Jackson did call for Lott to resign, although other dems, only wanted an official apology, which Lott agreed to. You can read more on this story in CNN Archives

My point here is ONCE AGAIN, the right is trying to compare things that should not, can not be compared to. As I have said before, until BOTH SIDES, can agree to what true facts are, we have no hope for our future.

Everyone remembers Proposition 8, which effective ended the right to marriage for our friends in California. The Federal Trail has started! If there are any huge movements on this I will post them intermediately, otherwise stay tuned to twitter #prop8 for constant updates!
